DOMESTIC SUNSCOOP KITS

Glidevale Sunscoop kits bring natural daylight into dark areas where normal windows or rooflights can't be used. The highly reflective tube guides daylight from the roof dome to where it is required.

All flashings are available as red, brown, grey, terracotta, red streak and slate blue/black.

For single clay pantiles, plain tiles, Forticrete Centurion tiles, Goxhill Gaelic tiles or interlocking tiles, the Universal top is recommended which requires a site fabricated upstand.

KIT CONTENTS :

PITCHED ROOF KIT -1no. roof dome, 1no. flashing, 1no. 300mm starter tube, 2no. adjustable elbows, 2no. 600mm intermediate tubes, 1no. ceiling diffuser (provides approximately 1200mm vertical height). 

FLAT ROOF KIT -  1no. universal top with insulated upstand, 1no.300mm starter tube, 1no. bottom elbow,and 1no. ceiling diffuser.

OPTIONAL EXTRAS AVAILABLE ON LINE

LIGHT AND SUN DEFLECTOR - this is fitted under the glazing and intercepts direct sunlight that otherwise would miss the reflectors at high and low incidence angles. It can increase the light level at the ceiling diffuser by 20% or more in direct sunlight conditions.

INTEGRAL LIGHT FITTING - this eliminates the need for a seperate light fitting as an integrated electric light fitting for up to a 20W low energy lamp (equivalent to 100W convential lamp) is provided.

SECONDARY GLAZING AND TUBE INSULATION - this contributes to the overall thermal performance and reduces the risk of condensation when passing through a cold roof space by achieving a u-value of 2.2 W/m2k.

LIGHT ATTENUATION DAMPER  - this provides an element of control over the amount of light entering a room.

SKYVIEW DIFFUSERS - these provide a wider spread of light and enable the sky to be viewed. 

COLOUR FLASHINGS – flashings can be colour matched to specific roof coverings including composite panel and standing seam systems.
