FAKRO BLINDS

Fakro make a wide range of blinds that increase the functionality of the window, and offer the means to control light levels, as well as heat and energy use. It is recommended that south facing rooms with roof windows should be protected from over heating through the use of blinds and reflective glass.

INTERNAL BLINDS 

VENETIAN BLINDS

They can be adjusted to regulate the amount of light entering the room. It protects against excessive heat from solar gain, and provides a decorative feature. Aluminium runners along the sides create a fully functional light screen, and enable the rotation of the window when the blind is lowered.

ROLLER BLINDS

Manufactured from fabric with aluminium fascias to hide the roller. There are three fastening positions allowing varying degrees of light reduction. They are highly tear resistant, high resistance to UV, are easy clean with long lasting colours.

BLACKOUT BLINDS

Manufactured from blackout fabric with aluminum runners at the sides to allow the blind to be positioned any where up the window.The fabric protects against UV radiation and reduces solar heat gain in summer whilst reducing heat loss in winter. They are highly tear resistant, can be installed in all types of rooflight, and are easy clean with long lasting colours.

PLEATED BLINDS

They are a stylish and decorative blind which provides a soft diffused light. The pleats stiffen the fabric whilst the white aluminium runners cover the fabric edge and enable the blind to be fixed in any position on the window.

EXTERNAL BLINDS 

AWNING BLINDS

They provide optimal protection against room overheating, protecting up to 8 times more efficently than internal blinds. They are manufactured from durable weather resistant glass fibre fabric and the roller is located in an aluminium case on top of the window. They also provide the added benefit of sound reduction during rain and hail.

ROLLER SHUTTERS

The external shutter helps to maintain proper inside tempratures regardless of the season, reduces outside noise and offers complete privacy. It is available with a traditional crank handle control or the option of a motor controlled by remote control or by a wall mounted switch (the electric controls are not included).
