SOLAR WATER HEATING
All our solar panels are manufactured by Firebird, a leading UK manufacturer of heating system for 30 years. The panels use zero carbon energy from the sun to provide hot water and they are suitable for domestic and commercial use. Even in the UK they can heat hot water all year round. Over a year, solar heating systems can produce up to 70% of the hot water requirements for a typical family saving approximately 1 tonne of CO2 per year.
- All necessary components are supplied as a kit with FREE delivery to mainland UK.

IS MY PROPERTY SUITABLE?
All that is required is an area exceeding 4m2 of either flat or pitched roof space facing Southwards between West and East. You may need a new hot water cylinder to operate solar panels. If you are unsure contact us for free advice.
DO I NEED PLANNING PERMISSION?
For householders in England the Government has added solar panels to your Permitted Development Rights i.e no planning permission is required as long as it is no higher than 200mm (which all our on roof systems are) and no higher than the top of the roof (exceptions apply for Listed Buildings, Conservation Areas and World Heritage Sites). Householders in Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland must consult with their local authority regarding planning permission.
